Our Brand Story: A Journey from Yunnan’s Tea Mountains to Global Appreciation
Deep in the mountains of Yunnan, Lincang and Xishuangbanna nurture some of the world’s purest large-leaf ancient tree teas. This land, shrouded in mist year-round with dramatic temperature differences between day and night, allows tea trees to grow slowly, absorbing rich minerals and developing deep, layered flavors. Here, ancient tea trees thrive untouched by human interference, growing naturally in the pristine forests. Every leaf carries the essence of nature and the depth of time.
Only the Purest Spring Tea
We believe that the finest tea comes from the perfect growing environment and the most precise picking seasons. That’s why we only harvest spring tea, categorized into three picking periods: Early Spring, Mid-Spring, and Late Spring. After months of dormancy through winter, spring tea buds are rich in nutrients, producing thick, full-bodied leaves with a refined and complex taste.
Each leaf is hand-processed by skilled tea artisans, preserving its original shape and flavor without artificial ripening or chemical additives. We press our tea into chocolate-like bricks or small compact pieces, allowing it to gradually release its aroma during brewing, filling the entire space with the natural scent of a pristine forest—a truly therapeutic experience.
Organic, Eco-Friendly, and Sustainable
We are committed to organic cultivation, avoiding pesticides, fertilizers, and any artificial intervention. Our teas grow naturally in Yunnan’s untouched tea forests, following the rhythm of nature while preserving the land’s ecological balance.
We emphasize sustainability and environmental responsibility throughout our production process.
• We avoid plastic tea bags and disposable packaging to reduce waste and microplastic pollution.
• Our packaging is made from biodegradable materials, minimizing our carbon footprint.
• Our brewing philosophy is “simple yet authentic”, encouraging tea lovers to use glass or ceramic cups rather than overcomplicated equipment, making tea appreciation effortless and enjoyable.
Tea is not just a drink—it’s a gift from nature that should be fully embraced and returned to the earth.
• After brewing, dried tea leaves can be used as natural air fresheners, subtly releasing their earthy fragrance.
• They can be composted as organic fertilizer, enriching household gardens.
• They can even be used in handmade soaps or bath infusions, offering a nourishing touch for the skin.
Multiple Infusions – Unlocking the True Essence of Tea
Our tea is crafted for multiple infusions, allowing drinkers to experience its evolving depth with each brew. We recommend using 5-8 grams of tea per session, following traditional Chinese Gongfu-style brewing. With every steep, the flavors shift and develop, ensuring a prolonged and immersive tea experience.
To make tea culture more accessible, we will be sharing brewing guides, tea appreciation videos, and lifestyle content on our website and social media. These videos will explore various brewing techniques, the art of tea, and how tea can seamlessly blend into modern daily life. Through these experiences, we aim to show that tea is not just something to drink—it’s a way to reconnect with ourselves and the world around us.
Giving Back to the Land and the People
Beyond making tea, we are committed to supporting the land and the people who cultivate it.
• We employ local indigenous farmers, providing stable income and economic opportunities. By doing so, we encourage more people to stay in their hometowns and continue the legacy of traditional tea craftsmanship.
• A portion of our brand’s revenue is dedicated to long-term philanthropic initiatives, supporting environmental conservation, rural education, and cultural heritage projects in Yunnan.
Tea – More Than a Drink, It’s a Way of Life
We aspire to restore tea to its purest form—a daily ritual for healing and mindfulness. In today’s fast-paced world, a single cup of good tea can bring a moment of peace, a pause in time, and a sense of harmony with nature.
Beyond tea, we carefully select organic ethnic products from Yunnan and curate unique items from the UK, Japan, Thailand, and beyond, creating a globally inspired “tea lifestyle” concept. Our goal is to bridge cultures and introduce tea as an international experience, rather than just a Chinese tradition.
In the Netherlands, we bring the spring teas of Lincang and Xishuangbanna to the world. Through every sip, we hope people can feel the purity of nature, the warmth of the land, and the craftsmanship passed down through generations.
This is not just a cup of tea—it is a way of life, a connection between people and nature, and a celebration of mindful living.
